You are invited to help with Jess Graham's research on how school students respond to digital messages, like emails and text messages.
You will be asked to answer some questions about yourself and how often you write digital messages, but you won’t have to write down your name, so no one will know which answers are yours. For some questions, you will know the answer straight away (like your age or your school grade), but for some questions, you may have to guess a little bit (like for how many text messages you send each day). If you're not really sure, just try and make a guess that is as realistic as possible for you!
Next you will view some messages that other people have written. You will get to give your opinion about these people after you read their messages. The people mentioned in these messages are not real, and what is written in the messages is also made up.
I will be pleased if you would like to participate in my study. If you decide to participate, you can start the questions now!
But if you don’t want to do it, or if you start and then want to stop, you can just say so. You don’t need to tell us why.
Your participation will be really helpful for my psychology uni project, so thank you very much for helping out!!
